Hygrophila Pinnatifida is a very appealing aquarium stem plant. The plant has characteristic brown, purple, red, green or yellow leaves colour depending on the conditions that its kept in. Under low lighting plant will grow high and upright with long leaves. Under high lighting plant will stay shorter and more compact sending lateral shoots. Those new shoots can be cut and replanted or left to grow. Hygrophila Pinnatifida could be attached onto wood or rock as well.The stems will eventually root and anchor itself. The stems readily climb rocks and wood, which allows this plant to be used in the most original arrangements.
