Meet Vejers Sensor - a classic black metal wall light from Nordlux with an upward-facing lampshade and a built-in motion sensor, combining decorative uplighting with hands-free security.WHERE IT GOESVejers Sensor is built for outdoor wall mounting at the driveway, front entrance, terrace or patio. It is mains-wired (not battery or solar) for permanent, dependable lighting, and its uplighter design washes light up a wall, porch column or gatepost for a decorative rather than purely functional effect.HOW IT WORKSA built-in PIR motion sensor combined with a daylight sensor switches the light on automatically once it's dark and movement is detected within 0-8m, then off again when the area is clear - added security and lower energy bills, with no manual switching. A built-in parallel connection also lets several Vejers Sensor lights run from a single switch, so you can wire a matching set along a driveway or boundary wall.BUILT FOR OUTDOOR USERated IP54, Vejers Sensor is protected against dust and splashing water from any direction, so it stands up to rain and everyday British weather on an exposed exterior wall. It is Class 1 (earthed) electrically, so it must be wired via a properly earthed circuit by a qualified electrician. The fixture combines a black metal body (RAL 9005) with a clear glass diffuser for a crisp, classic finish.DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONWith clean lines and a compact silhouette, Vejers Sensor brings understated Scandinavian design to entrances and driveways. At 23cm high with a 26.5cm projection and 22cm shade diameter, it sits neatly on a wall or gatepost. The single E27 socket takes LED or energy-saving bulbs up to 60W (not included) and is dimmable with a dimmable bulb.IDEAL FORDriveway and entrance security lighting, terrace and patio wall lighting, gatepost and column uplighting, and anywhere a decorative upward light effect with automatic motion control is wanted.
