A Spanish chilli pepper which is delicious grilled or barbecued with a slightly sweet and smokey flavour. Often served as a Tapas dish. There is a variety of heat within Padron peppers from mild to hot. They have a milder flavour when picked young.

Growing info: For an outdoor crop, sow under cover 6-8 weeks before rosts end. Sow 5mm deep into good quality seed compost. Keep at 20-25\u00B0C for germination, which typically takes about 1 week. Seed compost must remain moist but not wet. Acclimatise before planting out once frosts have passed. Grow in a greenhouse or warm sunny and sheltered position. Roots are fragile, so plant out with care.
Aftercare: Pick whilst still young and green for the classic Padron pepper taste. If left to ripen to red or yellow, the chillies will be significantly hotter.

Refunds
