With the PBD 40, Bosch have built a powerful, reliable 710W bench drill - & then enhanced it with a variety of innovative & advanced design features. An electronic display provides exact speed setting in rpm, & precise drilling depth indication accurate to the millimetre. Once you've chosen a speed, Bosch's 'Constant Electronic' technology maintains that speed regardless of the intensity of the workload, providing optimal adaptation to different materials. Features and Benefits • Controlled, material-specific speeds can be easily and accurately preset thanks to the electronic speed display and Constant Electronic • The innovative digital display makes it easy to read the exact drilling depth. Even rows of holes, e.g. for wooden structures, can therefore be drilled without any problems • With 2-speed gearbox: high power in 1st gear, high speed in 2nd gear • The high-quality, keyless precision chuck automatically retightens the drill bit. The retaining ring guarantees a perfect hold on the drill bit • Integrated laser to assist with drilling: for easy, precise drilling - at exactly the required position • Even round workpieces can be fixed conveniently using the quick-action clamp for a precise drilling result • The parallel guide and the large work plate ensure accurate and safe positioning of the workpiece • The rotating wheel with integrated soft grip allows for a controlled, comfortable drilling rate Specifications • Voltage: 240v • Power Input: 710w • No-Load Speed: 200 - 2.500 rpm • No-Load Speed (1st gear / 2nd gear): 200 - 850 / 2.500 rpm • Laser Type: 2 • Max. Drilling Diameter in Steel: 13mm • Max. Drilling Diameter in Wood: 40mm • Chuck Jaw Width: 1.5 - 13mm • Drill Stroke: 90mm • Base Plate Dimensions: 330 x 350 x 30mm • Machine Weight: 11.2kg
